I used as a reference for this one the front cover of an enchanting Celtic music CD, "the Legacy of Turlough O'Carolan" [link] . Toirdhealbhach Ó Cearbhalláin (that was his name in Gaelic) was born in 1670, and he was the last great Irish harper, who is considered by many to be Ireland's national composer. Turlough O'Carolan wrote pieces for the people he met and stayed with - playing music in exchange for hospitality. Tradition has it that the harp was played last thing at night, before they went to bed. I love bonny Ireland, with her misty valleys and green hills and enchanting forests under the ever-rainy sky! So this is my own tribute to the beautiful green country of the Celts. : )
I suggest you listen to this melody: [link] Éirinn go brách! © Ilías Patrinós |

"I wonder what's in a book while it's closed. I know it's full of letters printed on paper, but [..] something must be happening, because as soon as I open it, there's a whole story with people I don't know yet and all kinds of adventures and battles."
